Junkyu Han shared a cool project on his Behance profile for a concept design for the 2019 Lexus ES300H Cluster/Dashboard Car UI. I have been paying more attention to projects related with cars due to my increased interest in this particular industry. After test-driving the Tesla Model 3 and seeing how much innovation Elon is bringing to the well-established car industry I can anticipate a lot of changes coming. In addition you can see that Junkyu explored extending the visual language throughout the interface. A few points to highlight is the a bit excessive usage of light effects and usability. My naive assumption is that for a cluster of extremely important information, it should be all about the information and less about the form.
