In Bratislava's vibrant cycling community, Jazdím Čiernu Stredu stands out as a beacon of female empowerment. This all-female cycling crüe is not just about riding; it's about creating a space for women to connect, learn, and grow. Organizing cycling trips around the area, JČS offers more than scenic routes; it offers a sense of belonging.
Each trip is an educational experience. New riders are introduced to the rules of group cycling, ensuring safety and cohesion. Seasoned cyclists share their wisdom, offering tips and tricks for road riding. But the discussions don't stop at cycling. The group delves into topics of feminism and female empowerment, fostering a space where every woman's voice is heard.
This year, JČS's mission to inspire and support female cyclists took a creative turn. They collaborated with REPETE, a distinguished bike frame builder, to design custom bike frames. These frames, tailored to key members Zita, Gabika, and Zuz, are adorned with symbols and messages that resonate with each cyclist's spirit. The design palette is a harmonious blend of dark blue and white, with light pink accents for text and graphics. Rounded fonts, playful illustrations, and witty signages, like the "don't forget to drink!" reminder, add a touch of charm.
Behind this design brilliance is NICE GUY, who masterfully merged minimalism with meaning. The bikes are not just functional; they're symbolic of JČS's ethos.
Jazdím Čiernu Stredu's collaboration with REPETE is a testament to the power of design in amplifying a message. Through these custom bikes, JČS's mission to inspire, educate, and empower female cyclists shines even brighter. They're not just riding bikes; they're riding waves of change.
