Folklore — stylish short film

Folklore is a puppet short film inspired by Scandinavian folktales made by Abraham Matias. The film follows scenes from various tales and was made entirely out of paper. Abraham creates three-dimensional illustrations with paper puppets inside a miniature theater. The music was done by Colombian musician Alejandro Montoya.  

Abraham Matias is an illustrator, designer, and puppet artist from Mexico currently working and living in Los Angeles. He was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to Chicago where he attended the Art Institute and Harper College majoring in Graphic Design. He moved to Los Angeles where he currently works as a graphic designer and illustrator and makes his own puppet films.
