Amrit Pal Singh has been creating a really creative and unique initiative. Titled: 'Toy Faces Library', it's a series of 3D avatars that you can use for your mockups, UIs and/or personal use. The part where it gets very unique is that Amrit puts in a great effort to provide the most diverse library possible with over 70+ unique 3D avatars and that library keeps growing and growing.
Mr Misang is an illustrator from Seoul, Korea. It's a fascinating country with an interesting history. We are featuring the work from Mr Misang because of the insane illustration entitled: Rough World. Filmed by DawittGold who is director from PEACHES, and music by NAFLA and LOOPY who are famous rapper from label MKIT, Korea. I would definitely advise you to check out the video!
Iancarlo Reyes is an art director, design and 3D artist from Carolina, Puerto Rico. With 18 years of experience in developing and working on memorable, and exciting projects, campaigns, or images for numerous clients. Iancarlo still finds time to create some incredible 3D characters, recreating superheroes and villains. The cool thing about his work is the style, it adds a nice cartoon look to the world-wide famous characters, including the new Joker. The result is simply awesome. Check it out.
Olivier Pautot is a 3D designer based in Besançon, France with an incredible portfolio of 3D work, especially, in my opinion, the fun and whimsical character design ones. The work has so much personality that is hard to translate how I feel every time I see one of his projects. That’s the main reason I would love to share here with you. By the way, I was surprised I have not posted about Olivier yet.
Joel Savage 3D modeler and texture artist based in London, UK. We are sharing his work for Netflix's I am Mother, a science fiction thriller film directed by Grant Sputore. Let's take a look at this robot that took more than 6 months to build and it's not CG'ed since someone can be placed inside the suit. The designs shown here are the 3D model of the physical costume they have later built for the movie.
Fady Youssef is an Egyptian art director based in Dubai. He created this amazing series of character design made out of waste, literally. With old electronic parts he put together some quite inspiring compositions with character full of personality. It definitely reminds me of Wall-e by Pixar. With scores of new smartphones and computers release every quarter, tons of electronic devices are thrown away – and they often wind up filling our landfills and polluting the environment.
Gustavo Henrique shared a beautiful character design project on his Behance profile. He created simple shapes in 3D and added some simple 2D draw on them. Gustavo mentioned that he wanted to give some personalities to these shapes using very simple lines. As he said: "I tried to use less shapes and lines as possible to give them some personality.

Let's start off the week with a beautiful tribute to the Grand Budapest Hotel directed by the mighty Wes Anderson. This tribute has been expressed through the form of illustration and character design by Santiago Moriv who is an illustrator and visual artist from Medellín, Colombia.
It never ceases to amaze me the level of quality that 3D artworks have gotten. Dan N shared this incredible character design project that took him a few months to complete. It is titled "Hulkbuster" and it's the Iron Man Armor: Mark XLIV. It's hard to imagine that we all have access to tools to achieve this level of work and even more mind-blowing to think that you can simply just purchase the model to render it on your machine.
We are delighted to share a timely post today by Hungarian-based illustrator Dora Vincze showcasing some fun illustrations celebrating winter sports. Just in time for the Olympics in South Korea, these whimsical, animated character illustrations have us beaming from ear to ear. The Winter Olympics began in 1924 in Chamonix, France as a major international affair and continued to take place every four years. Having evolved since their inception, sports and disciplines have been added and subtracted over time.
Happy New Year everyone! We're excited to start 2018 off with a smile and giggle thanks to awesome illustrator Lorenza Cotellessa's "Happy Hipsters." Lorenza is a Milan-based illustrator and graphic designer with a knack for beautifully blending character, color and composition in her own unique way. With a background in interior design, Lorenza is now purely focused on making her living as an illustrator and we fully support her passion. If you're keen on independent music labels, vintage clothes, and artisanal coffee we hope you enjoy these charming illustrations by a rising star.
First of all, Happy New Year everyone! We hope that everyone enjoyed a beautiful time off with their families, siblings, and friends. We are back and moving forward in 2018! Let's kick it off with the stunning work of Toronto-based illustrator named Janice Sung, she is an independent illustrator and her craft is all around portraits. You might have recognized some famous celebrities or movie characters like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Mathilda and more.
The Warriors is one of my favorite films, if you have not watch it do yourself a favor and check it out. It's a classic movie from the 80s, simple plot of a gang trying to go back to their territory but in order to do so they have to cross NYC taking subway, running on the streets and of course fighting other gangs. The style of the movie, with the radio host updating people about the Warriors moves, outfits, mood, everything is inspiring and Diogo Torres translate that amazingly well into a beautiful illustration piece.
First of all, we would like to wish Happy Thanksgiving to everyone that does celebrate today and will do for the next few days. Through all the eating sessions and resting between, we would like to share this stunning short film on Abduzeedo.
On Abduzeedo, we get requests from designers and artists coming from all over the Globe. We truly appreciate it and along the way we would discover many talented people throughout our journey to inspire you more.
Time for more sweet character design! Today we're featuring the amazing work of Russian artist Max Kostenko. He's done a cool set of characters for Slack.com. Check it out! For more of Max's work please visit his portfolio at Behance. I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)
One of the games I have been playing a lot lately is the new Batman game, the Arkham Knight. Batman is my favorite character and the main reason it's because he's a regular guy, he doesn't have special powers, just brains and of course money. So for this post I had to share the beautiful character design that Riyahd Cassiem shared on his Behance page. For more information about Riyahd check out his page at http://riyahdart.blogspot.com/
Character design is a field that I don't know much about and definitely lack talent but that doesn't mean that I don't like it. On the contrary, I love seeing the work that talented designers and artists put together. From Pixar movies to simple illustrations, what really catches my attention is the expression that these talented people are able to add to their characters, it's almost as if they were alive. For this post we share a really cool project by Oscar Ramos, an illustrator and character designer from Santiago, Chile.
It's always great to see designers rockin' some super badasses characters. Imagination has no boundaries and we get to see infinite designs, thankfully! Today we're checking the characters imagined by German designer Joern Zimmermann. He's been doing some super awesome, slick pieces, from mecha warriors and battle suits to aliens. These are pretty amazing, but are only a handful! For more of his artworks, please visit his portfolio at ArtStation. He'll most definitely enjoy your attention!
