The Beer Deck - Hand Illustrated Facts About Your Favorite Frosty Beverage

We're delighted to share some good news for all the beer lovers out there from the talented creative duo Caleb Beyers and Ben Barrett-Forrest. If you've been consuming more beer than usual given the current environment (insert raised hand emoji here) this unique, 52 card deck is your playful, sneaky way to level-up your beer knowledge. Perfect for that first trip back to the pub (eventually) or at home, for beer nerds and beer newbies alike. The Beer Deck, born on Kickstarter, is filled with beautiful illustrations and fascinating facts, and printed on casino-quality cardstock. Each of the 52 cards focuses on one key beer subject, providing a concise explanation and detailed illustration.

Whether you're new to beer, or an old hand, the Beer Deck will improve your literacy of the world's favorite frosty beverage. It's like a miniature beer encyclopedia that you can also use to play solitaire, poker, or crazy 8s, the favorite around this household. The contents of the deck have been painstakingly researched and designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the wide world of beer. From ales to lagers, IBU to ABV, the color wheel and mouth feel, it's all in the shuffle. Ever wondered, "What in the dickens is a dunkel?" You'll find your answer in Beer Deck. Also learn the role hops play in the brewing process, the right glass depending upon beer type, and the REALLY nerdy stuff like beer 'gravity' and how it affects the flavor.

The deck is set to be manufactured by the iconic United States Playing Card Company, producers of some of the finest decks in the world. They'll use state-of-the-art presses and top-end card stock to print a deck that both looks and feels amazing. The case has a beautiful wrap-around design, full of intricate details, and will be printed on matte-finish stock in Erlanger, Kentucky, USA. The illustrations were hand-lettered by Caleb Beyers, in his signature quirky style. The Beer Deck will be ready to ship by November 2020, just in time for the holidays!
