Lukas Haag first published project as an Exterior Designer at Mercedes-Benz is an amazing concept car for the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show (IAA).
I was lucky to win the internal competition with my entry which made me the responsible designer for the complete exterior of the car.
Within a timeframe of 10 months, Lukas’ the design process went from conceptual sketches, a pre-study quarter scale-model and full-scale clay model over to the fully drivable final car. The result is quite stunning and I had the chance to see this car live at the Tokyo Auto Show 2019. It is definitely quite remarkable, especially some of the details like the patterns for the rear lights.
