Pablo Alfieri's 3D Explorations of the Iconic Dome Zero

In the realm of automotive design, few cars have achieved the legendary status and timeless appeal of the Dome Zero. Originally introduced in the 1970s, this sleek and futuristic sports car continues to captivate enthusiasts and designers alike. One such designer, Pablo Alfieri, based in Barcelona, has taken his passion for the Dome Zero to new heights through his remarkable 3D explorations, short films, and motion graphics. Pablo Alfieri's fascination with the Dome Zero is evident in his artistic endeavors, where he skillfully blends his mastery of 3D design with his deep appreciation for the car's iconic form. Through his creative vision and technical prowess, Pablo has breathed new life into the Dome Zero, presenting it in ways that capture its essence and showcase its unparalleled design. One of the highlights of Pablo's work is his series of 3D explorations of the Dome Zero. With meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, he has meticulously recreated the car's curves, angles, and distinctive features. Through these digital renderings, Pablo invites viewers to immerse themselves in the timeless beauty and futuristic allure of the Dome Zero. Through fluid animations, seamless transitions, and atmospheric soundscapes, Pablo's motion pieces evoke a sense of movement and energy, capturing the essence of the Dome Zero's exhilarating performance.

The project was started by Minoru Hayashi in 1975, with the goal of producing sports cars using knowledge gained from auto racing. Despite multiple prototypes and homologation efforts, the Zero was never approved by regulatory bodies for sale in Japan or overseas. As a result, the project was not commercially viable, and the Zero never entered series production.
