minnao packaging design by OUT OF OFFICE encodes Taiwan's terrain as scent — six route codes, a color-mapped geography, and one expandable visual system.
OUT OF OFFICE, led by art directors Liang Chu Ching and Chang Ying Sin, structured the minnao packaging system around a single rule: every product gets a route number and a terrain color. The minnao packaging spans pump bottles, refill pouches, dropper vials, and squeeze tubes — numbers 1 through 6 printed oversized, bold, condensed, reading like field equipment tags rather than product labels. Olive khaki for mountain terrain, green for meadow, teal for river valley, flat blue for open plain. A hand-drawn tree-ring cross-section on the gift box lid breaks the grid — organic strata against utilitarian type.
Minnao Packaging System Built on Terrain and Route

Photography reinforces the logic: products sit on actual rock and stone, not studio gradients. The backdrop is origin as evidence. The system reaches into fabric drawstring bags, gift sets, motion, and naming — all governed by the same coordinate logic. That's what makes this minnao packaging work: a brand language that treats fragrance as geography, and geography as design material.
