In doing a little research surrounding an upcoming functional fragrance launch I stumbled upon the bold and beautiful work of Andressa Meissner, a Brazilian illustrator who is passionate about mixing colors and textures inspired by her own daily life. Meissner has been working exclusively as an illustrator for over four years, working for a handful of global brands including Editora Abril, Women's Wear Daily, Editora Mol, British Council, Guararapes, Lonely Whales, Grão Gourmet, Nova Escola, among others. Meissner's work can be recognized by the fantastic and vibrant textures coupled with graphic elements to add more realistic details.
Peep below for some recent work of Meissner's to support a functional fragrance feature in WWD's Beauty INC. newsletter illustrating the idea that customers desire more from a fragrance than merely the scent. As well as the fragrance smelling good, purchasers today are looking for extra attributes such as calmness, wellness and happiness.
In addition, enjoy some older, bolder editorial work by the oh-so talented Meissner including Dylan and Bowie.
