These are really great, but only a handful of his pieces. For more of it, please visit his portfolio at Behance or Instagram! I hope you enjoy these as much as we did! Cheers! ;)
I feel that since flat became the new trend we started to see more of the same style of work, sometimes making it impossible to decipher if they were from different illustrators. Of course there are exceptions to every rule and that's the case of the illustrations created by Tom Haugomat for the South Bank Tower. The simplicity yet unique perspective and style set the work apart from the rest. Tom Haugomat is an illustrator based in Paris, France. His work have been shown in publications like XXI, Le Monde and many others.
We really can't get enough of a good set of dope illustrations. Some artists have mastered coolness and are a very talented bunch. One of these is San Francisco based artist Ryan Putnam. For more of his work, please visit his portfolio at Dribbble! I hope you enjoy these as much as we do! Cheers! ;)

This was going to be a post about logo design, but when I came to see the work of Nick Slater, I thought it would be an injustice not to show a wider range of his work. We've already seen some of it here at Abduzeedo earlier this year, but it's definitely time for more of it! Nick comes up with some super sweet vector illustration, super stylish and full of references from worlds we love, like the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and more. Sometimes we get to see awesome examples of vector artworks. When a talented person comes up with a sweet vector illustration it should really be shared so that everyone gets the chance to appreciate it, and that's why Marko Stupić's work is here. Marko is a Croatian artist and he came up with a project called "Icon a Day" in which he would come up with a sweet vector illustration everyday. Here are some of them, but for more, please visit his portfolio. I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)
We have posted and shared some of the amazing work of Dan Matutina, a designer and illustrator based in the Philippines. His style is quite unique and when you see an artwork with that style you can undoubtedly recognize it as Dan's work. It's a mix of clean vectors with dirty textures, even the forms have this contrast which gives his work such a unique character. For this post we selected some of the most recent pieces from his portfolio, check it out. I love mixing handmade & digital, clean & dirty, old & modern aesthetics.
We have been featuring a lot of projects and posts about things we get inspired by, however I noticed that we haven't posted about the talent behind some of these projects. Showcasing the work of designers has always been one of the tenets of this blog and we will get back to that tradition. For this post I would love to share with you the work of Vic Bell, a super talented illustrator and designer from the North of England. I love her illustrations and style, they have a very modern visual language with thick strokes and vibrant colors.

A couple of weeks ago I posted an image with a polygonal background that I discovered on the Pattern Library website and got some requests to recreate so herein lies my attempt. So in this tutorial I will show you how to create a vector polygonal pattern using Illustrator and the Pattern make feature. The process is quite simple but there are some details that are very important to make sure your pattern is tileable. Step 1 Open Illustrator and create a new document. With the Rectangle Tool create a square like the image below.
Brian Miller put together a beautiful series of illustrations for the 2014 LabelExpo America. The style, a kind of vintage-y, mid-century look with an incredible sense of motion. The colors are also spot on and these illustrations are probably some of the coolest I've seen in quite a long time. Here are the final illustrations I did for the 2014 LabelExpo Americas series. The idea was to capture moments outdoor with each character in unique environments defined by the client.
Here is a cool collection of gorilla illustrations to inspire you by different styles of illustrations and if you ever need to design a logo relative with animals you can use this as a bit of research. Enjoy! by Waldek Graczyk by Micael Forsberg

The FIFA World Cup kicks off tomorrow in Brazil and my home town will host some amazing games. The whole country and world will be tuned in to the games, players and of course they will get a chance to know a little bit more about Brazil as well. One of the best things about the World Cup is the fact that it creates a lot of opportunities in all areas. For designers and illustrators is not different. Today we are stoked to feature the work titled Mano a Mano by Leo Natsume, from my hometown Porto Alegre.
