We have been getting a good response of the poster series we share on abdz., you guys seem to enjoy it. Let's keep the momentum and kick it off with another poster series! Berkay Taş is a graphic designer based in Istanbul, Turkey. Berkay only has a few projects on his Behance profile but has been killing it with his poster series. It's definitely worth a following. For the second installment of the series, we are welcomed by the same quality by its predecessor.
Xtian Miller is a designer based in Detroit, MI, USA. His project is genuine, well-executed, and thought this should be perfect to be featured on abdz. Titled: ARC: Pattern Research, it's a series of 'geometric pattern posters inspired by architectural locations', it's a study that contains 25 prints that also can be purchased via his store. First of all, I just love the overall graphical approach on these, if you have ever visited or googled these landmarks.
Xavier Esclusa Trias has created a poster series that is bringing a bit of a nostalgia moments to be honest. Pure throwback from the days where we didn't care about going to rent movies at the video store, where the packaging was just part of an item that you will eventually learn to appreciate. From what Xavier created, I just dig there aren't any 'special effects' like gradients, shadows, or whatnot. It's all graphical shapes and typography; there is something about having to work within these past constraints.
Roman Post is a graphic designer based in Dedovsk, Russian Federation. We have featured Roman's work before on ABDZ and I am totally borrowing Fabio's series 'That 90s Look is coming back' for this one. I totally do agree that the 90s nostalgia is definitely back through TV shows and fashion. Roman is going again a full force on its textures, typography and its overall design.
Wanna keep the 'poster design' love today with Mitya Andrievskiy's Everything & Nothing poster series he shared on Behance. First of all, Mitya is skilled at many mediums from graphic design all the way to UI/UX design. It may sound cheesy to some but nowadays designers are so focused on a certain area of design and it's getting hard to stay afloat with the diversity of things you can do within our industry.
The anticipated 80s nostalgia Strangers Things Season 3 is now available for streaming. Did you watch it yet? I just finished it and it was a thrilling ride to watch these kids grow into young adults now. There was definitely more action than previous seasons but I will leave you be the judge if you haven't watched it yet.
We are finally kicking off this week with a cool poster series entitled: Posterlad by graphic designer Vratislav Pecka from Prague, CZ. What caught our attention from this series is, first of all the progression from Vratislav's work especially from the last 15 posts (referring to his Instagram). We do enjoy when designers or artists take make the effort to create. The more you make, the more you will gain experience.
More than a week ago, the rad folks from CD Projekt Red announced and broke the entire internet with the introduction of Keanu Reeves to the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 game coming in 2020. Keanu will be playing as Johnny Silverhand. I can't wait to play this game, but for now CD Projekt Red release concept art posters that might represent the different style of character we will get to play.
Following my love for movies this week, I am sharing a series of limited movie posters by the mighty Krzysztof Domaradzki, a graphic designer, poster artist & illustrator based in Poznań, Poland. We truly love his work on ABDZ, he really managed to craft his art to a wondrous level and still manage to inspire us all along the years. Do you recognize some of these movies?
It’s time for another entry to our, not so, wildly popular series “That 90s Look is Coming Back”. This time we bring a beautiful set of poster design created by Roman Post on his Behance profile. The post he shared is actually the 9th installment of a series of posters Roman has been posting. For these, Roman brought all of that 90s look at full force, you can see that dirty look with textures, broken elements, especially typography making it hard to read.
As a fan of personal and side projects I always try to provide support to designers that take their extra time to do something based on curiosity or simply to explore new ideas. Hussein Al-Erwi shared a series of poster design which he tried cultivating five drivers for success in an abstract and philosophical method on the audience. “This is based on my research in which I extracted those drivers that in my opinion are the encapsulation of the secrets behind any success story,” Hussein says.
Poster Design, an expression of graphic design where I wish that will stay forever even though with things going even more digital. The mighty folks over Anagrama Studio do it so well and we are a fan of their work on Abduzeedo. Check out their latest work on posters entitled: We Love Posters, thank you for sharing the love. It's definitely a versatile collection filled different graphical treatment.
Grzegorz Domaradzki is one of those artists that you should have an eye on all times, because you know that he'll come up with some awesome design. It's been some time since we last posted some of his works, so today I thought it would be nice to update you on his latest, badass posters. Gabz is definitely sharp as ever. He has definitely kept his game tight. Of course, these are only a handful of his latest work. For all of it, please visit his portfolio! I hope you enjoy these! Cheers. ;)
Justin is one of those artists that you should have an eye on, because he'll definitely design something cool! His posters are really dope, and his latest work features science! Yeah, science! You may remember him from previously posted articles here at Abduzeedo, and we had to share these amazing pieces with you. You may check his website for buying some prints! He'll definitely appreciate this! I hope you enjoy these. Cheers! ;)
