It looks like one of the new trends will be the cyberpunk one. From video-games like Cyberpunk 2077 to the of course incredibly polemic Cybertruck from Tesla. My prediction is that we will see more and more references to that style not only in the design industry but in general. One area that is clear that is already drinking from that source is special effects and motion design. Mikhail Shandra and Eduard Mykhailov shared an incredible post last year on their Behance. The work is focused on tracking and VFX but they definitely made it cyberpunk
