Being a product designer, I sometimes miss the 'good old days' of graphic design where there were almost 'no boundaries'. Except for when you needed to send something to the print shop, those were the days.
I am a fan of photo-manipulation in digital art, especially when applied to day to day objects. That’s why I am a follower of the 36 day of type challenge, it’s very common to see designers pushing the boundaries to re-interpret letters. JVG ™ did just that, but for advertising purposes. I am talking about their latest Pennzoil work where they digitally mixed the Pennzoil products to numbers to illustrate 6 facts that consumers should know about their revolutionary product. Just a reminder that we are not here to talk about ads, but the quality of the digital art produced for these illustrations.
We were approach by M/H VCCP to make the graphic campaign of Pennzoil latest product, the first motor oil made from natural gas, not crude. Six numbers highlighting facts of this new, revolutionary product.
