Moment is easily one of my favorite brands out there, we have witnessed their early beginnings to this uplifting brand always making awesome new products and involving the community right to its core.
Eugene Tumusiime is a London-based photographer, and during round 3 of lockdown, Eugene produced a self-initiated project called GLASSWARP. With a Samsung Galaxy S9, Eugene shot Christmas lights as they were bent, split and warped into different psychedelic patterns by different drinking glasses and a stapler.
“I always use Christmas to do experiments with lights at home, and in 2017, I wanted to get a glass prism so bad that I tried to shoot my lights with my phone and a pint glass as a prism. It worked out. And I have a lot of glass at home.”
Here are 10 images, the full project features explanations of the different glass effects and a deconstruction of my post-processing workflow.
