Glee Brand Identity by Ahmed Yossry

Ahmed Yossry built the Glee brand identity on a bold coral palette, a rounded lowercase wordmark, and tactile packaging that feels warm on every surface.

The brief behind Glee called for a brand identity that communicates joy without tipping into cliche. Cairo-based designer Ahmed Yossry answered that challenge with restraint and confidence. The solution is built on a single dominant hue — a saturated coral-red — applied consistently across every touchpoint from stationery to packaging boxes. Nothing competes with it. The color does the emotional work.

Brand Identity System That Carries Energy Through Packaging

The logotype is lowercase, set in rounded letterforms that echo the warmth the brand is after. There is no hard edge anywhere in the system. Yossry pairs the wordmark with cropped portraiture — smiling faces, expressive close-ups — that bring the brand identity to life without leaning on illustration or abstract pattern.

The packaging system is where the Glee brand identity earns its keep. Boxes, shopping bags, and stickers all share the same coral field with white logo placement. The proportions are generous. The surfaces feel deliberate. When the boxes are stacked, the repeat of the Glee wordmark across each face creates a strong visual rhythm — one of the clearest signs that a brand identity system was designed as a whole, not assembled in pieces.

Typography supports the identity with a complementary sans-serif used for body copy and labels. The weight contrast between the rounded logo and the supporting text keeps hierarchy clear without adding visual noise.

The campaign photography, shot with the same warmth as the color palette, ties everything together. Warm skin tones and soft lighting sit naturally inside the coral brand world. The brand identity for Glee holds up across print, digital, and packaging — which is the only real test of whether a visual system actually works.
