SWEETY & CO created the logo design, visual identity and packaging design for Booma, a brand of high-quality hygiene and care products for babies that are vegan and organic. The brand offers a range of products such as shampoo, moisturizer, and anti-diaper rash ointment, all designed to preserve the health of both the baby and the planet.

The Challenge

Booma's main challenge was to create a visual identity and packaging that would connect with the playful atmosphere of childhood while conveying the brand's excellence and reliability to parents. The design team aimed to develop a fun, cute, and friendly visual identity that would be both elegant and trustworthy.

The Solution

To start the project, the team drew inspiration from the universal truth that kids hate bath time. Booma's packaging aims to change this with a fun, playful approach that transforms bath time into a loving and caring family moment. The packaging design plays with the double meaning of "boo" - the caring "my boo" and the scaring "boo" of ghosts and bogeymen - to create cute and fun monsters that balance the brand's high quality with a playful approach.

The monsters were created from the geometry of the Booma logo, which was inspired by famous shape sorter and building toys. The institutional version of the logo is used on the packaging to balance the fun with the brand's high quality. The light background associated with monospaced typography adds elegance and minimalism to the packaging, making it both fun and sophisticated.

The love involved in care makes bath time much more than a hygiene routine. According to experts, it's an opportunity to strengthen ties with the child and stimulate autonomy and senses.
