Brand Identity Design for WaysConf Conference

Brand identity design for WaysConf, Central Europe's top product conference, scales a local event into a world-class visual system for 1,500+ attendees.

WaysConf has grown from a regional gathering into one of Central Europe's most respected stages for product, UI/UX, and research practitioners. With 1,500 attendees, speakers from 20 or more countries, and an audience that skews 80 percent senior or lead level, the conference needed a brand identity design that could carry that weight. The visual identity had to communicate scale, credibility, and forward momentum without leaning on the generic conference playbook.

The project was led by Jacek Janiczak and Tomasz Osowski, with Janiczak serving as Art Director. The scope covered creative direction, art direction, photo direction, design, motion graphics, and illustration, making this a full-spectrum brand identity design system rather than a single logo refresh. Motion graphics brought the identity to life across digital touchpoints, giving the brand a dynamic presence suited to a community that builds and ships software products.

The WaysConf brand identity design project on Behance shows how each element connects, from typographic lockups to animated sequences, forming a coherent visual language. The color palette and compositional choices signal authority without sacrificing warmth, a balance that matters for an event built around peer learning and practitioner connection.
