Ensemble is a design studio based in Manchester, UK, that specializes in branding and strategy. Recently, the studio had the opportunity to work on a rebrand project for InVision, a leading digital product design platform. The challenge for Ensemble was to harness the existing equity in the brand and refine it. The team worked closely with InVision's internal team to understand their goals and vision for the future of the company. The result of the collaboration was a refined and simplified brand identity that communicated InVision's values and offerings clearly and effectively. The new identity was developed with flexibility in mind, allowing for variations in color and style while maintaining a cohesive visual language. InVision has always been known as a product for creativity, allowing users to build whatever they decided to. Whilst their audience was no longer solely the design industry, a visually creative approach was something that we still wanted to harness in the new direction. This, paired with the repositioning of their product, led us to develop the thought that this was not a workspace, but a platform for creativity of all kinds; be it conversation, scribbles, reference or challenges. In short, this was a place for the ‘art of the possible’.
