In a dying world where people struggle to get richer by polluting our own planet, it's always a relief when you find people trying in some way to make other people think. Paul "Moose" Curtis is one of those. The Reverse Graffiti project brings clean spots in filthy city areas. And those clean spots are transformed in art!

When i was a kid i used to play around with Apple's "iMovie" and "Final Cut Pro" and loved to create bluescreens, explosions and all that sorts of effects. Also I tried "cloning" but it went too bad. Here are my favourite three cloning effect videos.
Nelson Balaban is a 19 year old independent graphic designer from Curitiba, Brazil. And as you've seen in our last interviews with Rik Ooestenbroeck and JamesTu you can recognize that we love presenting young artists.
This is probably greatest source of vintage inspiration in the web. If you never heard about it before, listen up! It's the Jauna Gaita magazine. In 2008, the Latvian magazine, Jauna Gaita (which literally means The New Course), is turning 53 Years old and it's great to see how an old magazine managed to stay fresh and young for such a long time!
In this tutorial I will show you how I created the Abduzeedo's footer. Some of the techniques I used here I took from other tutorials and also from another tutorial I wrote some time ago for PSDtuts Mix Cool Retro Curves Into Your Photographs.
I've worked with photography manipulation for over one year, and during that time I've learned some cool techniques that I would like to share with you. Two of my favorite techniques are the Lomography effect and the Cross-Processing effect. Then, someday I thought: how about mixing those two? What I got was a major kickass technique that will make any of your pics pretty awesome.
A few weeks ago a friend came to me and said:"Hey Aloa you're into this design-thing. You have to see this short-movie". When i saw it it blew my mind. I dont want to hide this from you so please watch this. It is worth sitting 4 minutes watching a screen ;-) A machine with a doll face mimics images on television screen in search of a satisfactory visage.

I know we had just recently released a new design a few months ago, but the blog has since grown much more than we had expected. Now we have more contributors (which is fantastic!), more posts each day, and much more content in the whole site. And that’s why we had to update the site. The new design, however, is not much different from the previous one.
When I first saw pictures of this artist i couldn't image that someone can brush this in photoshop. But it was true and now he is one of my favourite digital artists. JamesTu is a 20 year old student from the United Kingdom but worth enough for an interview. His gallery can be seen on Deviantart
Ok, you guys have already noticed that we're totally in love with HDR. And that little group among you who doesn't like, we are trying our best to make you love it! Today's series: Night scenes! We understand how critic some people can get when it comes to HDR... some will say it's not photography, some will say it's too surreal, but nonetheless, it's ART.
One of my big passions is to see some great illustrations on DeviantArt. And it's just nice to see how these guys get to draw such beautiful girls, so nicely. It's just stunning. We've already featured Artgerm's Pepper here, but there are plenty beautiful ladies on Deviant.
Ok, before I even start talking, I must say that I'm completely sold out for this dude. He's a really freaking good artist and I wish I had 1/10 of his skills... and that would be a lot! His name? Jose Manuel Oli. And if you like illustrations, drawings and cartoons, then you'll be getting sold out as soon as you check some of his work out.

It has become apparent that Fabio and I have caught the photography bug. So much so that we both bought brand new cameras. Fabio ordered the Canon Powershot G9 while I ordered the Nikon D300. Both of our cameras arrived last Friday, giving us the weekend to get our first impressions and grab a couple shots. WARNING: we suck So without further ado: Fabio's pic

We've shown you exhibition-sites like DepthCore, Phirebrush or Evoke. Here's a site that focus on Desktop Wallpapers. Desktopography publishes their 4th exhibition and a new album. Dont miss it. Download their High-Resoltion-Wallpapers on their Website.
There are numerous ways to express one’s creativity. While some find comfort through virtual expression (websites and such), others find that real intervention helps to better express themselves. A friend of mine sent me this link, to the Mark Jenkins website, and I thought it would be nice to share it with you.
After a month receiving entries, voting, and waiting, Abduzeedo's first contest is over! It was great to have you guys sending us 30 great designs! But every contest gotta have its winners! Just to remind everyone, here are the prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places:
It's great to see some surreal design on the web. Emeric Trahand is a French designer who's been doing some really nice surreal work. But he's a multi-talented artist and also has other great works! Here are some of his pieces... I bet you guys have already seen some of these around the web. Anyways, it's always good to remind how good a designer is!
As far as we've seen, there are not too many great cellular phone companies advertising out there. And on those terms, Nokia is actually way ahead in the race for customers, since good commercials sell so much. Next, you'll see an animation created to Nokia, by designers James Taylor and Mark Warrington.
Abduzeedo means abducted in portuguese, the spelling is not exactly that, it should be abduzido. But the whole idea for the Abduzeedo's design is the space.
This week we have for the wallpaper of the week an awesome illustration from Gustav Balderdash, an Illustrator, Animator, and Graphic Designer, based in Southampton, England. We hope you enjoy it and we invite you all to send us images and suggestions for wallpapers.
