We are sharing the automotive design concept by Rashid Tagirov of the Polestar O. Which is a car design based on Volvo Cars Polestar model, an electric performance car developed in Gothenburg, Sweden. I just love seeing the early sketches all the way to the final design concept, I mean look at the matte black design. It's so beautiful, it's rightly pulled from the Cyberpunk2077 game.
The project was done during my Volvo Cars exterior design internship in 2017-2018. Polestar 0 is an autonomous performance sedan whose style is based on modern architecture and minimalist form treatment. Tech parts integrated into the main body show the beauty of the inner vehicle parts and creating a completely new modern look. I believe that in the future all vehicles will be controlled by the main system what will help to provide quick transportation for inter-urban and urban mobility areas and will help to reduce human factor accidents on the roads.
