We are taking a look at a case study of a rebrand for Vodafone Soundbox and we have to be clear that the goal target audience are for people from the range of 16-24 years old.
Pentagram always does a fantastic job redesigning popular brands. The focus is always on simplicity or simplifying these identities from the visual point of view in a way that only Pentagram can do it. I am not questioning the quality of the work but I do love the storytelling power to walk us and everyone through the story behind the redesign. The project updates the iconic WB Shield and makes it the foundation for a comprehensive identity system, including a custom typeface inspired by the logo. The logo has been optimized to perform across various platforms and scales, from the small-space digital world to environmental installations.
