Gretes is a sustainable sleepwear brand that decided to glance into a new perspective of silk products: a sleep dress, nightshirt, bralette or turban — each is made from sustainably managed pine and eucalyptus forests, leaving Gretes on top of other modern brands that no longer can afford to be luxurious only because of their quality or history.

At Geodesic is a geometric sans-serif built with straight lines and pure spheres. This font family was inspired by orbital science and synthetic geometry. It follows the core principles of today’s typeface design and rational proportions. At Geodesic combines aesthetics with everyday function; it is precise, smart and relevant; and it was made for modern design and contemporary branding.

In April 2022, it is with great sadness that get-it.studio learned of the Nakagin Capsule Tower’s imminent dismantlement and destruction. This fantastic building has constantly stimulated and fed their imagination.

A resource, finally. Carolyn Witte and Felicity Yost started Tia in 2017 to address the medical needs of a long-ignored, painfully neglected segment of the healthcare population: women. A focused beginning. They started with a WebMD-style texting platform aimed at younger millennials and zoomers. The goal: to normalize conversations about topics such as birth control and gynecological care.

Heydays Studio shared a branding and visual identity for Plateful. Do you know that one third of all food produced is wasted and never reaches your plate? Plateful seeks to reduce food loss by disrupting the normal supply chain.

Lucía Vega shared a branding project for Hangar, a craft beer project produced in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The brand has hangars as its inspiration and the designers base its logo on that whole idea.

With the endless number of playlists, podcasts, and livestreams we now carry around in our pockets, the idea of listening to a radio station feels antiquated — but we often make exceptions for our local public radio. For the Bay Area, that special local station for the past 80 years has been KALW.

Another Collective shared a branding and visual identity for TONTON, an architecture atelier that results from an exercise of space creation and how it makes us feel, how it conditions our life, how it changes our perspective, and our approach in the most mundane circumstances.

Nora Kaszanyi shared a really cool design project for an open source educational tool for blind children called “tacTiles”, an educational tool that is designed to help blind children learn Braille-based writing.  While children with sight have many tools available to teach the alphabet, a blind child only meets the system of points.
