It's been quite a while since I last spent time looking for inspiration on Dribbble. Not to brag but things are most or less the same which is unfortunate, to be honest. But on the good side, I stumbled across the work of Isaac LeFever, which by the way is a badass name to start with.

It's been a little while since our last 'Spotlight' series and it's always rewarding to feature designers, leaders who are excelling in what they do but usually are just part of the behind-the-scenes of a major brand overhaul or product releases. It's great to share their work and learn more about their background, passion, and more.

Let's be clear. I really don't miss the days of home quarantine from the past year. I did appreciate the time spent with the loved ones but glad we all get to live some kind of a 'normal' summertime. With that being said, it's always rewarding to see how others had to cope with this pandemic and what needed to be done to actually stay sane.

When I think of Singapore, I think of really hot weather and colors somehow. It's a beautiful country mixed with concrete and also nature landscapes. Along those lines, I wanted to share the work of the Darling Visual Communications which is a design consultancy firm that specializes in branding, print, typography, and web.

Yuri Rodchenko is a 3D automotive modeler based in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. He shared on Behance, a stunning creation of the 'Nissan Fairlady Z' made in Autodesk 3ds Max and also with Vray, and Phoenix FD. The result looks completely stunning almost like a photograph.

It's been a little while I haven't looked for 'Cyberpunk Inspiration' and I was surprised by the amount of love this era is still getting all the time. Let's admit it's the best decade ever!

Continuing my search for a client visual style, I stumbled on another amazing series of illustrations by Febin Raj, an illustrator & designer based in Bangalore, India. He worked on a rebranding project illustrating the different landscapes of the beautiful country of Australia.

Keeping with my inspirational search of visual delight, I stumbled across the work of Gamal Assy, a graphic designer based in Mansoura, Egypt. He worked with a music artist named Abo Sahar to conceptualize its new album cover and visual direction for his brand.

How you feel about the longevity of NFTs? Most of our social feeds have been since submerged with so many digital works that it's getting hard to keep track of it all. Most of them are honestly brilliant, stunning, meaningful, and some others...well, that's why we are here!

As of late, I have been freelancing back to my roots with branding, and building a visual system for a client. It's been such a long time ever since my graphic days and most of us have switched to 'product design'. I was stumbling across the work of the fine folks at Bunker3022., a branding & designs studio based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ben Fearnley shared a series of, as he says, very satisfying loops created using Cinema 4D and Octane Render. As a fan of 3D and trying to learn a bit more in my spare time, this type of work definitely gives me the boost of motivation to keep going.

Juliana Christmann and Moritz Büsselberg shared an awesome editorial design project featuring magazine spreads very well designed using a classic grid system. I mentioned before and I will keep saying it, this type of work for me is what inspires me the most. 

This is the best opportunity to share some colours into your feed. Nothing to bring joy and inspiration than the work of Maxim Shkret with our constant admiration of his 3D animal series. Maxim is a digital artist that is super-talented and it's always refreshing.

Mateusz Urbanowicz is back with more of his Tokyo Storefonts, a series of illustrations that would imagine a creative and unique shops on the streets of Tokyo.

Lewi Yonas  shared an inspiring editorial design project for Cozy Vol. 2  Cozy is a personal project that was born out of quarantine restlessness - described by Lewi. As a fan of editorial design I always admire the amount of work it goes through designing a publication.

Beco Creative Studio shared the branding and visual identity that they created for their own studio. They are a multidisciplinary design studio doing all things creative. It was founded by Beatriz Ramos and Constanca Soromenho in Lisbon, Portugal. It’s worth highlighting the materials and color treatment.

'OCEAN BLUES' is a fine art photography series by visual artist and landscape photographer Jan Erik Waider. All photos were taken during calm days on the Drake Passage on a voyage with the sailing ship Bark Europa from the Antarctic Peninsula back to Ushuaia. 

In contrast to the strict and somewhat restrained Swiss Style of the 1960s, Büro Destruct stands for design without the handbrake on. Apparently everything is possible. It can be humorous, loud, colorful and zeitgeisty. At the same time, minimalism, precision and craftsmanship are present in all their work.

Yuklung Young shared a quite beautiful 3D project using Maxon Cinema 4D and Octane Render. The idea was quite simple but the execution was flawless. Basically it’s a set of explorations of glass refraction of basic forms (circles and squares) in primary colors. For some reason I love this type of experimentation and especially how it looks.

Manifiesto shared a branding and visual identity for Fonima. Fonima seeks to dissolve the line between visuals and sound through rhythm, time and silence. The festival connects the audience through sensory experiences in an audiovisual concert that brings together musicians, animators and VJs in a live session of visual and musical improvisation.
