Charge Cars is a British company based in London with extensive experience in the development of luxury and high performance vehicles. They started taking reservations for a limited series of only 499 brand-new electric 1960’s Mustangs. The officially licensed shells preserve the classic design and styling of the legendary Ford Mustang.

The branding people shared a branding and visual identity project for Homie, a Mexican online platform that helps millennials land their ideal home by offering users a simplified and intuitive experience. The platform supports the user's journey from the search through to the signing, omitting the typical bureaucracy of renting or buying a new home. 

Quim Marin Studio shared a branding, packaging design and visual identity project for Soma Brewing Co. The project features a beautiful typography that is cleverly applied across all the collaterals, including the label for the bottles. In addition to that the usage of colors is spot on and gives the modern and fresh look to the identity.

I watched a bit of the Apple keynote today and I don’t know if it’s me getting old but it feels that the excitement is no longer there. I know there were new devices but still it feels more like the same. More speed, more this more that… one thing that caught my attention though was the iPhone SE wallpaper. The reason?

Amanda Macedo AKA @amlight shared a beautiful art direction project she did for Office Depot. In 2019, Office Depot placed private brand at the forefront of the company’s growth strategy.

Maat Studio shared a branding and visual identity project for Los Melez. The project features a beautiful usage of typography for the logotype mixing normal and italic to create a very stylish look. The collateral material leverages that and expand on the theme really well, quite inspiring.

Alessio Longa shared a graphic design and poster design project titled “LIQUID SPHERES IN ZERO GRAVITY”. To most of us, the word “fluid” brings to mind images of water and other liquids. But to a scientist, the word fluid means much more.

Pol Solà shared a beautiful 3D project titled Prysm. The project is a collection of 3D compositions created with a mix of glass effects and gradients. There aren’t many details but you can enjoy some abstract inspiration.

RADIOGRAFIKA  by RETOKA, an NFT collection of X-rays about the virtual and digital world. X-rays printed with the most modern techniques, on polycarbonate that allows light to pass through and generate high vibrate and vivid colors.

Huleeb is a 3D digital artist based in Montreal, Canada posting daily renders. The illustrations that Huleeb creates using tools like Blender 3D, Topaz Studio and Photoshop are beautiful. They have an eerie look that reminds me of the games Limbo or Inside.

Ahmed Hussien shared a 3D project titled “Follow the Light” and it was done using Blender 3D as well as Photoshop and Photoshop for iPad. I love seeing how 3D artists and designers can now work on a plethora of devices to deliver stunning results. 

Larry V. is a designer based in Ukraine and he has a beautiful portfolio. One of the projects on his portfolio is the branding work for Ferrexpo, an iron ore pellet producer with mines in Ukraine and sales operations around the world.

Lea Konaševská shared another collection of beautifully designed posters. As a graphic design lover and growing up with posters on my walls as well as buying books on poster design I always love to see fellow designers keeping the passion alive and exploring abstract art as inspiration for posters.

AKIRA is in my opinion such a cult anime movie from the 1980s and it's always amazing to watch again and again. Directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, we follow the journey Kaneda and his incredible journey. Give it a watch if you haven't yet.

The past 2 years have been difficult. It’s hard to put on words. I struggle with anxiety and the pandemic really made that worse. I’ve been trying to cope with it as I mentioned in the past and I created a breathing app to help me cope with it. Calmaria.app was a fun side project, it pushed me to learn SwiftUI and Android development.
