Sam Burton is a freelance motion designer and animator. For the last 10 years, he has worked across a large variety of projects including animated commercials, broadcast design, music videos and pretty much everything in between. If you look at Sam’s work you will understand why we love it and feature it here on the blog. It has that nostalgic/retro feeling, especially his NFTs.

We have featured VELKRO in the past and we will definitely continue that tradition because we love their work. For this post I’d love to share a beautiful Illustration and motion design project created by them in 2019. The idea was simply to celebrate summer and translate that to a greeting card to send to friends and clients.

Ruben Ireland is a digital artist based in the UK. Ruben has been crafting his art. For a decade now and you must have seen or recognized his stylish black and white illustrations featuring characters mixed with different types of techniques.

Katt Phatt™ shared a beautiful 3D project on Behance featuring some ornate and highly decorative design. A typographic piece which accentuates curves within typography. With the addition of 3D to further enhance the effects. The tools used were: Autodesk 3ds MaxPixologic ZbrushCorona Renderer.

Braz de Pina shared a super complete branding project for a fictional company called HyperCommute. The project was part of an interview process, but for me what is more important to highlight it is the step by step design process, from problem definition, references/inspiration, concepts to the final solution.

Alexander Schoenberg is an award winning fine art and street photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. Looking at this work, you understand why. He shares some incredible photography series on his Behance profile, some in black and white, while some at times, with simply beautiful compositions.

Andreion de Castro shared a motion design post where he plays with typography and movement. "POEMS: VOLUME II" is a collection of quotes and lyrics taken from a range of songs and movies inspired by Andreion’s taste in music and cinema.

Robinson Cursor has been exploring with typography for a while. I am a fan of the collections he shares on his Behance and asked if I could share one of them here with you all. I selected the 2020 series because, well, 2020 was a totally atypical year. That affects all aspects of our lives, including our design outputs. 

Vitali Zahharov shared a really stylish branding, product and UX design for Muko© Los Angeles. Vitalin hasn’t shared much information about the project, but we really love the overall look and feel with the beautiful typography and layout compositions. The project was commissioned by MODDEN

Our friends from Ars Thanea has reached out and wanted to share about their 'biggest project to date' and it's with Huawei's Tech4All - A millions dreams campaign.

Brígida Lourenço Guerreiro and the folks over at KOBU Agency shared a really cool 3D project exploring glass texture and typography. The project from my understanding was created to celebrate KOBU Foundry’s first anniversary.

MORPHORIA COLLECTIVE shared a super stylish editorial design project for Poly – short for polycentric – just like the Ruhr region. Once a year, the English-language magazine guides travelers and locals through the metropolitan region. The pioneering function is already visualized in the logo on the cover.

Dot Creative shared a branding and web design project for Moneta, an imaginary financial news brand with the mission of informing its audience about the critical and important actions of the global financial scene.

João Teixeira shared another beautiful industrial design project fully rendered in 3D using Blender. Minimal yet sophisticated, and slim were some of the keywords while designing the Loop desk. The name derives from the way the monitor stand is designed, looping all around the table top in a seamless way.
