madre natura is a contemporary Australian fashion design house. The name translates to ‘Mother Nature’ in Italian. madre natura believes that respect for the environment is equally as important as respect for ourselves. This guides the label with every decision they make and aligns them with their values: Sustainable, Ethical, Circular and Slow-Fashion.

Antian Imeri shared a collection of 3D compositions created as personal projects exploring recent thoughts through modular sculptures in imagined spaces. The tools used for this project were Maxon Cinema 4D, Octane Render as well as Adobe Substance 3D Designer and Photoshop.

Markus Hofko shared an amazing industrial design project for a modular shelving system called KUR!O. The product is still in development but the idea is quite simple, you can create different configurations with a limited amount of pieces and that’s the beauty of the whole thing, the simplicity and beautiful colors.

Vyacheslav Novikov shared a stunning 3D and digital art project created using Houdini. The project is titled Nebula and as you can deduce it is about nebulas and space stuff :) 

We wanted to share for our NFT Spotlight, the sublime visuals done by Rus Khasanov, a visual artist from Russia. If you are not familiar with this work, it's a combination of showcasing emotions through his visual art, I was personally drawn to the treatment of his color choice.

Rafael Serra shared another stylish typographic explorations including some using famous brands. As usual the work is super clean and quite bold not only from the excellent shapes and forms but also because of the impeccable color palettes.

Tom Chrostek, Krzysztof Gwóźdź, and the folks over at Ollestudio shared a project they did for Przemek Szuba that focused on reimagining the branding and web design.

I love typographic posters, there are fresh and hard challenges to take in as you wanna explore and experiment with a few ideas. Let's take the work of Muhittin Güneş who is a typographer and designer from Istanbul, Turkey, he shared a lovely series of 'typographic posters' and they are sublime.

As we are getting close to the end of 2021, I still feel the vibes of 2020 right in the air. It's like we still haven't got over it, enough we have some vibes of some normality back. Somehow...Anjela Freyja is a Montreal-based art director and designer who shared a book design titled 'How to Survive a Pandemic'.

In March of 2020, we were all blindsided by the pandemic and there’s no doubt we’ve all learned to pivot and adapt both professionally and personally. On the professional front, you may still have the luxury to work from home which also means anyplace with a solid WiFi connection (hello digital nomads).

Digital Carbine is an illustrator based in Indonesia with an incredible portfolio of illustration and digital art projects. I love the illustration style, or different styles and themes. The Crescent Moon is from Threadless days and it is just so clever (I miss the threadless days!). 

Pavel Novák has shared a low poly pack titled 'World 2.' which is a series of assets to inspire game developers or 3D artists to create their unique stories using these this pack. The pack is assembled in Unity3D, animated with Mixamo, and rendered in Blender.

My old friend Roger Oddone has been quiet for a long time and now I understand why, he’s been working on some killer branding projects and the latest one is for RedCircle, a platform designed to empower the podcaster community to grow, earn money and be heard through free podcast hosting and a cross-promotional marketplace.

Max Rompo shared a set of incredible posters he created for Fito Paez tour in Brazil. The poster design style is quite modernist taking advantages of the primitive shapes that form the Brazilian flag. In addition, the colors and typography are equally well designed. 

As I am finalizing my next 'thoughts on' how I am reflecting my move to Switzerland. It's an ABDZ tradition to scramble around Behance to find and discover designers and artists from the beautiful country I am currently living in. There are so many finds and many talented designers to feature on Abduzeedo, this is the beginning of something new.

Jesus Amador is a product designer working with UI and UX design but he is also an incredible digital artists as you can see on this beautiful project he shared on his Behance profile. The illustrations and digital art have a super stylish look with a sort of sepia tone and a very surrealist feel.

NFTs are currently exploding! Most of our social feeds have been since submerged with so many digital works that it's getting hard to keep track of it all. Most of them are honestly brilliant, stunning, meaningful, and some others...well, that's why we are here! Alex Townsend shared a brand identity project create for Beat School,  a Houston based music publishing company comprised of music producers from around the US. The identity needed to be music related, simple and slightly urban. The result is a modernist mark with bold typography and a contrasting color palette.
