Eiko Ojala is a designer from Tallinn, Estonia with an incredible portfolio of papercut artworks. For this post I would love to share one of his latest projects, this one titled “Climate Changed".

Michael Novia shared a beautiful 3D project of personal explorations using Cinema 4D titled Texere, which is an exploration of composition and color. I've experimented with organic cloth simulations and vibrant materials. Texere attempts to blend the complexity of cloth with simple, uncomplicated composition and dramatic lighting.

Sonny Nguyen shared an awesome 3D project created using Blender and Octane render. If you’re like me you will agree that Windows 11 wallpapers are beautiful. Sonny truly liked them so went a step farther and decided to create his own wallpapers in 3D using Blender with Octane render.

We have been hearing lots of buzz regarding Tokyo lately, it's probably related to the Olympic Summer Games! Sadly for us, there is almost no way to be able to watch any of it live (Europe!) But as an encouragement, I stumbled across the work of Romain Trystram is an art director and illustrator from Agadir, Morocco.

Six N. Five is an art direction and imagery studio based in Barcelona, Spain. They shared an experimental 3D art mixed with architecture titled 'the Japanese Garden' series. It's a full CGI illustration series about a culture that is truly fascinating to me.

Xtian Miller created a poster series inspired by William Shakespeare’s sonnets; a collection of 154 poems originally published in 1609. Excerpts were selected for 25 posters and reinterpreted in visual abstract form to convey the concept of time and light vs dark.

João Marques shared this retro inspired illustration and motion design project for the Lightspeed EP. In September of 2019, DJ/producer KURA released a new EP on Spinnin' Records entitled 'Lightspeed'. A really energetic and fierce EP, especially the title track ‘Lightspeed’, a big room production with a hard drop and cool sample snippets. 

Santi Zoraidez, like many of us, has been using design and personal projects to alleviate the anxiety and stress of this weird year. Santi put together a beautiful collection of abstract 3D work. All super stylish and full of color.

Seryozha Parshakov is an artist based in Moscow, Russian Federation. I wanted to share about his 'Ancient Future' series which is an art series showcasing an abstract exploration of masks combining ancient and modern textures. I totally feel a dystopian feel to these, especially the texture and the 'true tone black color' as a baseline.
