Control Studio shared a branding and visual identity project for Turntabl, which was created with the goal of transforming the way individuals view software development. It aimed to challenge the notion that the industry was dull, stale, and primarily beneficial to large corporations.
First of all, I didn't know that Alibaba had a dedicated design team and was putting 'product design' projects on Behance, and a lot more. I wanted to share about their platform entitled: 'Energy Expert ®' which is an energy management system that helps companies move towards carbon neutrality with technology, and innovation.
Another visual identity project that caught my eye. For the redesign for Nikita Efremov, a sneaker store by the fine folks at Choice. Their approach was really focused on the visual identity, mostly the logotype itself. I love how they pushed the envelope to make the visual identity streamlined in brand-related marketing use cases.
I wanted to kick it off with always-inspiring work by Tubik Studio and their web design for Stutte University. The design is a nice play with big, bold typography, a clean layout, and colorful 3D imagery. I somehow like the thin-stroke visuals for the iconography, and notice the subtle gradients. Stay inspired!

I stumbled across this striking visual identity for the 2022's Information Day of The University of Hong Kong designed by Anthony Lam. What I love about this design is quite inspired by the iconic Knowles Building, the powerhouse of the Faculty since 1970s. There is almost this brutalist-inspired visual key accent and it's worth checking out on ABDZ.
This car. The 911 by Porsche. You recognize it right away just by its shape and those iconic headlights. What about if it's made of fabrics? This is the exploration of textures that Thiago Tallmann was going through during his research of textiles and with a little play of creativity.
Continuing my streak of featuring designers, and artists based in Portugal. I wanted to showcase the work of Bruno Silva and the visual identity he has done for Herdade do Pinheiro, a luxury residential development company. What a bold approach Bruno took designing a modern and elegant visual system connected with the theme of nature.
Giulio is a pasta factory located in Buenos Aires. The founder Julio, a friend of Brenda Diaz Aberastury, began to think about the identity for this project years ago when the kitchen was nothing more than a borrowed space in his parents' house.
KOBU is to travel and real estate, what MR PORTER is to menswear — a highly curated and coveted resource of the world’s most imaginative dwellings and the visionaries who have shaped them.
First article for the new year for me, and it's been a long while. I missed this space a lot and I needed to rest mentally to fully reset. Very recently, I spent my winter holiday in Portugal with my family. We visited the cities of Lisbon and Porto, it was an incredible time for us. Both cities have their own personalities for us to discover and we will make sure to come back soon.
