Guillaume Azadian is a great pal and currently working as an interactive design director based in Paris, France. He had the opportunity to work with renowned brands & clients such as Reuters, Harvard Business School, Marriott, Google, Formula 1, Ubisoft, Samsung, PlayStation.

We have featured the work of FEBIN RAJ recently on abdz. Again I stumbled across his latest work and I was surprised by the number of new works that Febin has been updating. There are quite amazing and totally worth another feature update on the blog.

It's been a little while since I last shared an article on abdz, I missed it a lot. I also wanted to use our portal to share about an inspiring series I stumbled across by Tomasz Artur Bolek.

If you, like me, are trying to learn a bit more of 3D and chose Blender as the tool of trade I recommend that you check out the work of Matti Tauslahti. This project also links to a nice tutorial on how to create a similar effect.

Fagerström shared a brand identity project for Hebajasmi, a made-to-order high fashion firm founded in the UAE by Emirati designer Heba Al Jasmi. The company designs and manufactures unique, elegant and feminine evening dresses, which feature intricate details, delicate beading and luxurious materials.

Ignas Krakys took on the Inktober's illustration challenge in 2021. That means Ignas drew pictures every day of October related to that day's theme. Overall 31 drawings. During the challenge Ignas experimented with line and color to create quite stylish illustration pieces. 

Dan Zucco  is a 3D Art director & animator with a passion for making geometric patterns and generative art.  For this post Dan shares a personal project exploring procedural abstract flower compositions using Cinema 4D mograph and volume objects. 

Vincent Puppet shared a simple and elegant branding and signage design  project work for ICON Hotel. There isn’t much extra information about the project but Vincent added some images illustrating the creative process behind the work. Definitely work going through. 

Vanissa Wong shared an awesome branding and visual redesign for the Found Footage Festival, a festival dedicated to showcasing footage found from old VHS tapes. Now, how awesome is that? Vanissa used the colors, forms and type are inspired by VHS covers and interfaces, the result is retro and classic!

Diatomic studio, a multidisciplinary design studio duo based in Barcelona, shared a beautiful experimental film titled TILES. This film explores the module as the origin of harmony of a pattern, finding beauty in simplicity.

Mike Campau shared another beautiful 3D project and NFT titled Ghost of ZOË, which is a continuation of the original ZOË project. These hauntingly beautiful versions are created with a single line doodle, just as its predecessor was.

万 为春 shared an intricate and quite beautiful 3D project titled Spring is Coming. There aren’t many details available about the collection. The compositions feature what it seems to be some 3D typography made out of wires layered on top of each other. The work was done using Houdini and Arnold Renderer.

Lolly Studio shared a 3D and illustration project title Hells Angel. The 3D model of their Hells angel illustration is full of humor, it’s a caricature of the bikers that are part of that group. I love the contrast of sizes, especially the front wheel and the legs and feet of the biker. 

Last week I wrote a tutorial on how to create the new Apple iPhone SE wallpaper using Photoshop. It was a really fun little tutorial and I also saw another designer making the same effect in Figma. It’s amazing to see so many talented people as well as incredible tools at our disposal.

Mário Domingos has an incredible portfolio of 3D projects. It’s hard to pick one to feature because of the quality of work as well as the diversity of styles and explorations. For this post I’d love to feature a project titled .//cream// which explores the idea of a pixel pigment on digital canvas.

Carlos Pecino A.K.A. ColorSponge is a 3D artist with more than 15 years of  experience in the digital world. As many other 3D specialists his first steps were as a self-taught person in the architectural infography, working for small studios in Malaga, Spain as he obtained a university degree in Advertising Design.

Pánico Estudio shared a colorful and beautiful rebranding for the dessert coffee shop Passion for Sugar. The goal was to play with strong colors and a basic geometry to have a playful tone that represents the joy that a bit of sugar can give to our day.

Ventures II is a beautiful 3D and motion design project created and shared by Ryan Hawthorne. Expanding off of the original series Ventures II continues to explore light, form, scale and perspective.

Philip Lück shared the third installment of his series of abstract and playful scenarios titled Abstract Realities. As usual, Philip adds a little fun twist to the well known reality we all live in. The work was created using Cinema 4d and rendered with Octane Render. Just in case you were wondering.
