New week. Looking for inspiration to kick it off, I stumbled across the work of Shane Griffin, an artist and director based in New York, NY, USA. It immediately stimulated my senses with his short clips full of conceptual art like his piece titled: 'Going Green' where within seconds you understand right away the vision behind.

Cream Electric Art is a production studio based in Sydney, Australia; they have published a clever advertising project for McDonalds.

Time for some Editorial Design inspiration because, first, it’s been a long time since the last post on this topic, at least by me and second because this project I saw on Behance is just beautiful. The author is Sasha Yaguza an he created a full set of visual identity, collaterals and booklet.

We are sharing the work of Naniii with his plentiful lettering goodness. Such a tremendous progression along the years and keeps pushing himself into different styles all the time. One particular reason why this collection is taking the edge, they are all done with the iPad Pro + Pencil.

Ruslan Abasov shared an amazing motion design project playing with lettering/typography and one of the most iconic cartoon symbols, the cartoonish hand (Mickey Mouse). POP-UP: Animated Letterings features fluid and natural animations  including the splashes and droplets of ink. The lettering in the end is also quite beautiful.

He is a digital artist based in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy. On abdz, we have featured his work many times and yet it's always has inspiring through the techniques, and just look at those colours!

At Dot Creative, they are not afraid to put their money where their mouth is. So when it came to the release of their own brand safety solution, they created a product and accompanying website that was true to their principles of service design and excellence.

Water in Switzerland is crucial, has roughly 61,000km of rivers and streams and around 1,500 lakes. And it's quite a stunning view wherever you go up in the mountains with the help of the railroad system. It's everywhere!

Rafael Serra shared an inspiring take on the 36 days of type challenge. Rafael created a series of cards with a retro look that reminds me of badges as well as the work of the incredible Draplin. This is a solid example of simple illustration and graphic design.

Husnain Ijaz and Ahmad Ajmal shared a beautiful branding and visual identity for Salah, which seems to be a platform that helps connect the 1.8 billion muslins around the world.

I stumbled across the work of Seungwon Hong and thought it would be cool to feature on abdz. Seungwon is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Seoul, Korea. His series? It's titled: 'The Sartorial Painting Collection' and it's basically a series of digitally drawn paintings of portraits and people in general that he founds through social media.

GTB agency invited Thiago Steka to help them tell a couple of stories about die-hard football (the real one) fans and their Fords as part of Ford's official sponsorship campaign for Copa Libertadores 2020. The result was a beautiful animation, illustration and motion design project. 

Javier Torres shared a beautiful 3D project to highlight different forms of vases, as well as highlighting the textures of ceramic, stone, textile and glass in a "dry" environment, but with an extra energy in colors and textures. All the images were created using Maxon Cinema 4D and Octane Render.

247 Studio shared a branding project for Vuyap. Starting with the question, what if it turns out that your phone is a payment terminal that will allow you to support your important goals in a very simple way - even when you do not have cash with you?

After gaining a BA in Automotive design from Coventry University Pete Norris went on producing work for clients including Free Radical Design, Nissan, AKQA, Fiat, Shell, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft and the Creative Assembly. In the spare time he creates vehicles, characters, Graffiti, fine art, product design and various other amazing things.

Let's finish off the week with a typography design and calligraphy project that totally defines a genre and style. Overall, It kind of reminds me of the work from the latest Fantastic Beasts movie or even Pirates of the Caribbean. Designed by Hanoi-based Biksence Nguyen, we are taken on this voyage of mixture of lettering, gradients and textures.
