I will start this review by saying that it has been several years since the last time I used a tablet that’s not an iPad or Android. I mean a digital tablet for drawing. I used to love the Cintiq, it was the most amazing piece of tech and despite the fact that I am not an illustrator, I always found the tool super useful in Photoshop, but it is a bit too big for my needs right now.

Swile is a brand that is bold, friendly and entertaining. This video is the representation of all the aspects of the identity, from the font all the way to the product.

Since I saw the promo materials for the iPhone 14 Pro I kept thinking about doing that wallpaper in Photoshop. It’s hard to find the time with a 6 year old boy always wanting to play :) but this morning I took the time and had some fun. I am sure it can be easily done in Figma and Pixelmator.

Chaoyu Yang shared a super interesting 3D project where the goal was to recreate the Photoshop interface in 3d. But that’s not it, Chaoyu used a sort of paper style 3D as if the interface was a bunch of thin layers of paper. The effect was also applied to the composition in the canvas. The work is quite beautiful
