36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin Alphabet. Fatih Hardal created a structure using print screen, type distortion and various photos. Helvetica and Custom type trials were used to create the characters.

After featuring a couple of NFT projects for the past days, I think it will be a good chance of pace to feature font design for a change. Actually by saying that, I stumbled across the work of Dan Ferro who shared about his typeface design titled 'Moon Display'.

3D artist Philip Lück shared a very creative project on his Behance, re-imagining our daily lives with a twisted flair. Using Maxon Cinema 4D, Philip does an incredible job at merging our realities into abstract and playful masterpieces.

We are all talking about web3 and the hype on NFTs+crypto. For me it’s awesome to see digital artists that I always admired getting the recognition they deserve and the financial incentive to keep pushing. Another area that I see a big boom is 3D, especially Blender3D. In the past it was all about Cinema 4D but I see a lot of people moving to Blender and sharing amazing content.

Pol Solà has an incredible portfolio with some beautiful projects like Rings Of Saturn which was featured on Behance. There’s something about his projects that capture the 80s, in special, that sense of discovering what 3D and CGI could bring to the world in terms of visual design.

Bruch Idee & Form was commissioned to create the new brand identity system for The Camerata Salzburg. The aim was to communicate the full of the revolutionary energy and individuality and yet classically stringent style of their musicians.

PFP projects have been bursting and riding the legacy of successful early projects into the NFT space. They are so many projects out there and we wanted to keep the momentum by featuring the ones who really caught our attention.

Made Up shared a series of portraits of the top 4 people working in Blockchain today. All portraits are drawn by hand in pencil, before being crafted in Adobe Illustrator, and finalized in Adobe Photoshop. Created for Minterest, a digital investment platform.

For the past couple of months, in the NFT space; PFP projects have been bursting and tooling the legacy of successful early projects. Think of Bored Ape Club for example. Ever since we have been seeing many incredible PFP projects, I think they bring the NFTs to another level.

It's that time of the year, things are slowly shutting for the holiday. Unfortunately, we are still in a pandemic. The good part is the part of the year is where you get to spend time with your loved ones, resting, reflecting on the year, and being hopeful for the upcoming year. Personally, I love this time of the year to 'work' on personal projects!

OCIO Studio printed A5 postcards celebrating Christmas and the New Year. They created this lovely set of six postcard designs to share with our friends and clients, wishing everyone a happy and marvellous New Year. The 6 designs were printed on coated paper, gold foil finishing.

I’ve been using the new Amazfit GTR 3 Pro for the past 3 weeks and I have to say. I am impressed. But before I jump to my thoughts on this device let me say that I am no expert in fitness tracking despite  having a few devices including Withings Steel HR Sport, Apple Watch Series 6 and an Oura Ring (which I wear all the time). My thoughts on Amazfit will be in comparison to those.

This week, I stumbled across the work of Catello Gragnaniello who is a 3D artist from Italy. For the NFT Spotlight, I wanted about his series titled 'ASIMOV' which is about the near future AI will be 'mimicking' what humans have done in terms of their lifespan. It would be described also as AI sharing an admiration for mankind.

Manoel Michael shared a branding and graphic design project titled O Bloco. How to maintain an avant-garde and creative identity, when the advertising market has less and less networking and networking events? BLOCK # 1. A non-party. A non-stage for artistic interventions.

Have you watched 'Arcane' yet? It's a Netflix series with the essence of Sci-Fi and Fantasy broken down into 9 episodes. Heard amazing reviews, probably gonna need to find some time during the break. This opening title sequence concept by Toros Kose really caught my eye. He was inspired by the stones and unity of magic and science; a theme in the show.

Folklore is a puppet short film inspired by Scandinavian folktales made by Abraham Matias. The film follows scenes from various tales and was made entirely out of paper. Abraham creates three-dimensional illustrations with paper puppets inside a miniature theater. The music was done by Colombian musician Alejandro Montoya.  

Vasily Bodnar shared another inspiring 3D and motion design project. Title Steel Series, this project showcases some 3D explorations using silver as subject. The outcome is brutal and beautiful. All in grayscale with a bit of Noir feel. 

The Google Pixel 6 Pro is such an interesting flagship from Google. I am being a long-time Pixel user, ever since the first one. I still haven't got my hands on the Pixel 6 Pro but it's definitely not a model that is following the market trends.
