Sophie Gogishvili shared a super inspiring graphic design project that explores a grid system. As Sophie describes, the project is better fitted to find a solution to the design problems which is functional, logical and also more aesthetically pleasing.

Let's kick it off with 3D personal experiments of fabric made by the mighty Roman Bratschi, a 3D designer based in Switzerland. Roman is not new to abdz, we have been loving to feature his work over and over again. Hrvoje Grubisic shared a beautiful web design project featuring a crisp and classic typographical look. If you look at it very closely you will understand why I love it. It does remind me of some of the screens of the blog, but Hrvoje definitely did a much better job than I did here.

I think we all have seen at least once a clip or an episode of Astro Boy, a series from the 1950s that has been reprised a couple of times. What's great about these incarnations, they always tried to keep the essence of Astro Boy. Which is a science fiction series set in a future world where robots co-exist with humans.

Adobe MAX is back and it's packed with many cool announcements to your favorites Adobe products. We were very fortunate enough to be part of the communications and the new updates coming to Adobe Photoshop really caught my attention. Photoshop has been part of my toolset for more than a decade and it's always great to see the new features.

For some inexplicable reason, besides, my lack of attention, I missed this really awesome web design and editorial content website project that Rolf Jensen and Daniel Spacek. Created for Cotton in New York. They refer to the work as a  quick little project called Check The Label.

The amazing people over at Abstract Logic shared a really inspiring branding and visual identity project for Dope International, a music group and art company supporting work of high quality , integrity, and individuality. The work that Abstract did is  very thorough.

I have been quite inspired by how light reflects and refracts lights and objects creating quite stunning visual effects. For this post I bring this project designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro , The Tide includes a network of parks and spaces along a flowing pathway that follows the Thames.
