Our friends from Adobe has announced they are now open for applications for 2019-2020 class of Adobe Creative Residency.

Concept projects are always fun and give us the opportunity to work on different ideas or solutions for companies we love. I am a believer that any exercise is always worth doing. I would probably not use a concept project in my portfolio, unless it’s something that I believe highlights a particular set of skills, let’s say, motion design.

A new year has just started. I can believe it’s been already more than 12 years since I started Abduzeedo. Back in the day I really wanted to share inspiration and some experiments I was doing, especially using Photoshop. I remember around 2007/2008, I am not sure exactly when it was, but I saw a video of a brand new tool called Pixelmator.

Sebastian Onufszak, LAFKON Publishing, Jürgen Branz and Stephan Bovenschen shared a lot more information on the process behind the beautiful Adobe project Hidden Treasures: Bauhaus Dessau.

Dmitry Kolesnikov posted a beautiful art direction and web design project on his Behance profile. It's for Audio-Technica. The design is all about featuring the products. It's a simple light theme with no colors besides the photos. The typography is also simple and feels timeless despite the fact that Helvetica has been a bit overused.

Tata&Friends Studio shared a beautiful brand identity project on their Behance profile. It's for Everis' content agency. There are many things to talk about the design solution but for me, the most important is the simplicity.
