Hussam Eissa shared a motion design project featuring a retro look mixed with clever use of 3D. If I’m Honest is a music video made for DJ Gem that takes the viewer through a magical summer journey.

As a fan of sci-fi and the space subject it is always awesome to see other designers sharing the same love. For this post I would like to feature the work created by Flavio Montiel using Cinema 4D and Photoshop. The project is titled Astro Metal Front and as you can see it's beautiful.

In doing a little research surrounding an upcoming functional fragrance launch I stumbled upon the bold and beautiful work of Andressa Meissner, a Brazilian illustrator who is passionate about mixing colors and textures inspired by her own daily life.

Newly established Athens based architecture agency, entrusted faze design studio with their identity design. Faze’s team were assigned to design the logotype, stationary, identity system and online portfolio website. "Morphe" means form in greek. Light, color and perspective is what makes form visible.

Over the past year, roller skating has taken over. Be it physically seeing professionals and amateurs alike in city parks and open spaces or on social media with mesmerizing choreographies and music, skating culture is finally getting the attention it so deserves.

Background screens for the TV show Snowpiercer mostly used as part of the Engine Car systems. Designed by Bruno William in collaboration with Seth Molson, additional UI screens were made by Zeis Lentz.

Anastasia Salazar shared a branding and visual identity project for YOGO — a company that makes yoga mats and accessories out of eco-friendly materials in an ethical, transparent process — truly walks the walk when it comes to sustainability.

Rhox _ shared another motion design series of their project WAVES, a concept-driven playlist hub and a visual celebration of all things music. Each artwork is dedicated to a song, an album, or a playlist. Here you will find a selection of the shots published between June and November 2020. 

Ana Andreeva shared a branding and visual identity project created for Celebration Union, an event design studio based in New York. The visual language is built on research into the history of celebration - weddings, events, gatherings, and parties, to find the essence of what makes our special days special. 

AR2 is a construction company that arises from the need to fill a gap in the market, giving the customer a detailed monitoring of each project. The vision is born from years of experience in a stagnant market, where it’s urgent to communicate truth to the client, clarifying all phases and the process behind a construction project.

Derek Elliott created a series of 21 3D animations inspired by user interfaces. They all stick to a theme of white and orange, with simple, machine-inspired animation. The work was done in my newest favorite tool, which I am trying to learn, Blender 3D. 

Illusion CGI Studio created a powerful retouching campaign for Simple Green, a heavy duty BBQ & grill cleaner which is powerful like a beast. I think it deserves a Photoshop tutorial. What do you think?

Never Been Done is an exploration of the adaptable nature of skateboarding created by Sebastian Marek using 3ds Max, Cinema 4D and Vray. Sebastian takes the viewer through a surreal journey by experimenting with design and form. As a fan of skateboarding, I had to post about this :)

Xtian Miller is a designer from Detroit, MI, USA and he is back another typographic poster studies, I really dig his style and his sense of graphics. Having featured his work before on abdz, you just can't help to appreciate his creative senses and his willingness to constantly keep exploring through discovery.

Matt Jacobs shared a beautiful 3D project he created for Microsoft Teams for the Microsoft Teams Summit. Mat was also super generous with us and shared some details about the work including the brief, challenge and idea behind the project. 

Artman Studio shared a motion design for Tinkoff. The video presents the evolution of Tinkoff, which started in 2006 with the credit card and by 2021 it has developed into a modern ecosystem with ambitious plans in the future.
