It’s been quite a while since the last time I posted about my favorite decade in graphic design. Yes, I am talking about the 90s and the series of posts we have been publishing titled “that 90s graphic design look is coming back” - I think that’s the name.

Hana Neuman shared a branding project for a furniture design agency based in Cairo, Egypt called Studio Emme. The brand’s logo is designed based on an isometric grid in order to highlight the three-dimensionality of the product offered - mentioned Hana.

I just came back from my week visiting Hiroshima including the island of Naoshima (Art Island). Departing from Okayama, it has been an incredible journey and one of the things you encounter when you are traveling in another country is the art & design (as a designer for the least). It's not my first time seeing this but the use of 'illustration' in product design is very important nowadays. Most of us designers are eager to craft the simplest and most intuitive user experience. Continuing the tribute for the cult movie Blade Runner and being now living in November 2019. I decided to feature another artist but this is a conceptual artist from Singapore.

Apple! Products that we love and sometimes love to hate. Personally, I am a huge Apple fanboy, I have used their products for such a long time. I always admired their care for design and how we can become easily obsessed by them.

Zombie Studio with Isaac Buzzola Chene and Claudio Jr shared an amazing motion design and 3D project on their Behance page for the Dia de los Muertos.

Random Looping Type Collection – No. 1 is a random collection of type treatments made with Animography  animated typefaces. It's basically just a big pile of loops we made over the years to test and promote their type. If you like, please let them know by visiting their website.

Here we are. We are finally living in the future of the iconic opening scene for the 1982's Blade Runner. It's pretty crazy to see how the filmmakers envision what could have been the future, about 30 years ago. Welcome to the future promised by the past. What do you think about your present?

We are featuring the illustrations from Denise aka surudenise, they are filled with pastel colours, Japan, cats and alleyways. What else do you want? These are packed with beautiful and vibrant colors! I especially like her two illustrations referring to Kyoto Cats Day/Night, almost have that Anime feels.
