We would like to share this tribute for the Dell Latitude created back in 1994 all the way to its present day.

A couple of weeks ago I shared some photos I took last year. The main goal was, one, to share high resolution images, and two, to create an incentive for me to take more photos. With those noble causes in mind I had the chance to travel to Europe last week for a short business trip. In between meetings I was able to sneak out and capture some photos.

Let's start it off by saying that I really do enjoy diving into a student project. Fewer boundaries and more room for creativity. This is what we are mostly striving as we go deeper into our career level, once you understand your work ethic and establish a solid structure.

For the upcoming summer/ fall, we will be planning our next vacation in Beijing or somewhere in China. I think it will be a great introductory to how's life in China and obviously to explore the magnificent neons spots! :) For the occasion, we are featuring the work of Ekaterina and her series titled: 'Beijing'.

Yesterday I posted about the work of Dylan Levionnoi and the many 90s references for his work had. Today, we will keep on with the same topic, perhaps because now I am aware, but It seems to be that there are more projects with a similar style.

It is a great time to be a designer, we have incredible tools at our disposal and they all have inviting prices, some even being free. In addition to that, the community is thriving. There’s no shortage of material, from people sharing thoughts on design process and experience to a plethora of assets. A good example is the case of fonts.

Urbano is a new Lightroom preset created from the desire to bring to life some of the photos that look dull or poorly lit. Living in big cities we are surrounded by concrete and oftentimes a monotonous blend of colors be it concrete, asphalt, metal, and glass.

Pavel Zertsikel shared some awesome digital design projects on his Behance profile. I personally like the 3D typography treatment he created, especially with the usage of transparency. Unfortunately there’s no mention of the tools used, which made me wonder how he achieve such nice effects. 

As currently living in Europe, it totally brings some sense of quirkiness when you start envisioning 'cinematic scenes' from popular cult movies like 1982's Blade Runner movie for example. It's hard not good and it's at the same time a fun photo challenge.

Kulik Oleg shared a web design project on Behance for Bodega de Sonido that is worth sharing here on Abduzeedo. There are so many things to love about the design, from the grid system, typography to the cool usage of textures.

In the new year, I would like to share a variety of new things to discover outside of the design world (per se). How about some creators from YouTube. I don't need to tell what YouTube is about but it's always fascinating the kind of content you might find. Let's kick off with a broader theme and at the same time about a country that we dearly love.

As the CES 2020 is wrapping up, what was your favorite announcement of the entire week? Unfortunately, we were not planning to go to Vegas this year, but I was able to watch and read a couple of announcements on social media to see how it went.

One of my goals for 2020 is to get back to photography and simply have fun with it. Perhaps get a bit better, but the main goal is to have fun capturing the surroundings. I will also be posting most of them on Unsplash so everyone can get them for free. I will also, shameless, post them here on Abduzeedo, which it is nothing more than a personal blog.

Damir Peric and Oksana Ochoa Sierra shared a web design project inspired by the master of precision, Cristobal Balenciaga. This concept pays tribute to his legacy and opens a new chapter by reimagining the digital world of Balenciaga.

Yesterday at CES, Wacom announced the Wacom One, an economical new creative pen display.  The new Wacom One gives creative beginners, social content creators, budding photographers and visual thinkers a new pen display platform to create with.

We are sharing some news that is quite pleasing and proud at the same time. For two reasons, first is seeing a Canadian brand EQ3 who is a furniture company that freshly expanding to the US and recently establishing a new flagship located in NYC.

Luca Genovese shared an incredible digital art project titled Tech Styleframes - Exploration. He used Cinema 4D and JSplacement to create a series of abstract images that look like computer motherboards and electronics. The outcome is simply beautiful, full of light effects and different perspectives.

UMA Brand Studio published an amazing new branding project for the Lisbon School of Design. This is a brand project with the ambition to inspire all students to be creative.

Romain Billaud shared an awesome graphic design and personal project on his Behance page. As we start a new decade it’s amazing to see all the different ways to interpret the 2020 year. Romain has jumped to my top 3, if not the top 1 because of the stylish 80s look and feel.
