The mighty James White has just released the first issue titled: OFF THE GRID #1. A collection of 40 pages of drawings, stories, and art by the man himself. James has been one of the first artists we have featured on ABDZ, about 12 years ago.

Stories are the way we share information with each other. They can be sad or funny, long or short, but they should always remain interesting. This is what unifies our works, despite the fact that they are so different.

Our good friend Cody Ellingham has shared with us his latest project titled: BANGKOK PHOSPHORS, it's basically a photobook of his journey through the old and new streets of nocturnal Bangkok.

Motion design and animations have a significant role in today's app and web design. They can drive user attention to a specific part of the UI and help designers to reduce the amount of information needed to make the interface more intuitive. In some cases, animations are a differentiator, adding professionalism, finesses and polish to a website or app making them feel natural.

We are sharing the work from Ranganath Krishnamani who is a designer & illustrator from Bangalore, India. I came across his work while doing the Daily Design Inspiration articles. I just loved the clean lines of his illustration style and what struck me the most was his color palette.

I haven't posted about illustration projects for a long time. I have been a bit too focused on brand identity and UI/UX probably because it's something closer to what I do at work, which helps me to get inspired. However the work of Raul Urias is simply phenomenal and I had to share it here with you all.

El Diablo is an art director and illustrator based in Vancouver, BC in Canada. His illustration works are mostly for music albums. I just love the color palette and illustrative style. I have rarely seen a beautiful combination of colors between peach and slight-greeny-blue colors mixing so well together.

Paintings have a very special place in my heart. Maybe it is because I remember my mom painting her canvases when I was a kid. She loved when she had time to paint. Maybe it is because with so many different mediums out there, I'm a sucker for the good ole oils and canvas combo.

I have met Bart several years ago when he was in Montreal and we have kept in touch since.
