Swiss Style with SwiftUI

swiftui

I mentioned in a previous post about my adventures with SwiftUI. It’s fun to learn something new and the least I can do is to share what I learned. For most it might be too introductory, or not necessary, however I know that every journey starts with a first step. So if you know nothing about SwiftUI, you love Swiss Style and you want to get started learning to code look no further.

Faking Background Blur on WatchOS with SwiftUI

swiftui

Learning SwiftUI has been a lot of fun. I talked a bit about it before. It started just as a simple curiosity because I had launched Calmaria.app for Android, a platform I have been working on for the past 5-6 years. I know a bit of Java and Kotlin and do most of my prototyping in Android Studio. However, I was always interested in learning something new.

Calmaria Breathing App now on Apple Watch

product design

Last April I decided to create a simple Android app for me to do a breathing exercise that consists of inhaling from your nose for four seconds, holding the air for seven and exhaling from your mouth for eight seconds. Designer Spotlight: Dangiuz

designer

We started the designer spotlight to promote designers across the glob. Times are definitely changing, we all live in a pandemic and hopefully soon a post-pandemic reality. Economically things will be difficult initially but eventually things will get better. I know this sounds super grim, but in order to help everyone to spread the word about their work.

New week, a new abdz. 'Raw Design Inspiration' to kick it off. No theme, absolutely 'raw' inspiration. Being an abdz., inspiration is one of the biggest fuels in my everyday life. Whatever it is for life and work balance, it comes in many shapes and forms. For me, I do appreciate a good surf on Dribbble.
