Packaging design is something that I believe it is truly inspiring. It's so fun to see how designers use their creativity to come up with eye-catching packaging in the midst of so much visual noise. Take, for example, grocery store aisles. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with all the colors and fonts screaming at you.

I love checking out the illustration hashtag on Instagram. It is a great source of inspiration and an amazing way to find new artists. It was in one of my browsing adventures that I found the beautiful illustrations of Kate Wadsworth. The striking colors she uses and captivating subject got my attention right away.

I am been following the work of Steve Schoger for a little while now. He has been brought to my attention via his Twitter account whenever he shared one of his design tips and/or on Refactoring UI via his YouTube channel.

Efir Media shared on their Behance, a series of Web & UI layouts to showcase their skills and how much efforts they put into their projects. And of course, it's inspirational especially on the part with the animated transitions.

Our good friend Ben Johnston has shared a cool screenprint for the Pangeaseed Foundation which is a nonprofit organization promoting the culture and environmentalism to further the conservation of our oceans. It's a beautiful cause to promote.

I don't speak Russian but I really like this brand identity and web design project that Vik — shared on his Behance profile for ITO. I don't know exactly what ITO is so I will focus my comments to the aesthetics. There are tons of things that make it worth sharing, but I would definitely start from the simplicity and color scheme.

Olivier Pautot is a 3D designer based in Besançon, France with an incredible portfolio of 3D work, especially, in my opinion, the fun and whimsical character design ones. Minimalissimo is one of my favorite websites, especially for everything minimalist. I love their logo and for my surprise, I found the brand identity project created by Alessandro Scarpellini for it on Behance. It is really nice to see how the different mediums converge to the same aesthetics.

TwoPoints.Net shared a beautiful brand identity project for the New York City architecture firm Dash Marshall. When designing the corporate identity they realized that architecture acts in the intersection of the old and the new, the static and the flexible, the properties of matter and the lives of people.

There are many ways to find inspiration, especially if you are a designer. We tend to focus on visual inspiration, but when I say visual I mean more than visual design, it goes from branding to motion design. Those type of inspiration posts are good for references but for me the one of the best sources of inspiration is books.
