Continuing with our series of free high-resolution photos I have been taking and sharing on Unsplash. This week I’d like to share some photos I took in the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe.

There are downsides and upsides as well, I think we should face our reality and find ways to embrace this moment somehow.

Oikon Hospitality is responsible for the financial management and development of hotel units. What Loonatiks Design Crew found in their research, was that the competitors’ websites looked like hotels websites, large beautiful images of well-designed lobby pools and rooms, something that confused us as observers about what was their work object.

I have been playing more video-games since the self-quarantine started here in California. I’ve always been a fan of games and game level design. One game that excels at that for me is Ori and the Blind Forest, which was originally launched for the Xbox in 2015 but I’ve been playing it on the Switch.

Fabrikat Normal is a geometric typeface which is based on 20th century German engineers’ typefaces. It is optimized for small sizes and long texts, but due to its constructed architecture it also works in headlines or display use.

This is my flow was one of the PUMA’s global campaigns for the year of 2019 that Danilo Gusmão Silveira had the pleasure to work alongside KNAS team and develop the main visuals for the season.

He was lucky to have the awesome opportunity to be commissioned by MTV, to make video, with total freedom about concept and artistic direction. As he mentions on the description “Damn i was so happy when i saw the mail!” - I would be too :)

Modisana Hlomuka published a beautiful branding and packaging design project for SnackBytes, a South-African-based pet treat brand by Nutribyte. The range currently has two flavors, Chicken and Peanut butter named ChickByte and PeanutByte respectively.

Gustavo Estevão shared a quite interesting branding project on Behance. In the 13 years of Abduzeedo I believe this is the first  visual identity project with strong religious influence. “Avemaria!” is a women's fashion and gift shop with strong Catholic and Christian influences.

It's not common that we have shared with time how much we became such fans of 'automotive design' on ABDZ, there is a mixture of a lot of things including design, industrial design, automotive design, and more. To kick off the week, we would like to share the work of Dmitry Mazurkevich who has created 'widebody kit' for the BMW E24 635 CSi.

It's always honorable seeing brands like Hasselblad create initiatives to celebrate women at making their mark into the photography industry and that is pretty male-dominated. They are back with Hasselblad Heroines that will be kicking off the second-year installment on 8 March 2020, International Women’s Day.

Marçal Prats shared another beautiful branding, package design and visual identity project on Behance for Casa Cardona. 

LVMD TEAM worked on the rebranding of a coffee roastery called Roasting Brew. Specialty coffee is a complex product, an unexplored universe. Many coffee lovers have no clue on how to approach the “alternative” coffee: how to choose it, how to make it, what the difference between the Columbian and the Ethiopian coffee is.
